Uzbekistan increases cement production

According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-August 2021, Uzbekistan produced about 8 million tons of cement.

Cement production increased by 18.2% compared to the same period last year, the committee said.

The regions with the largest share in the total volume of cement production during the reporting period:

• Tashkent region – 42.8%
• Navoi – 32.1%
• Jizzakh – 13.3%
• Fergana – 8.2%
