Uzbekistan’s cement exports surge, Kyrgyzstan emerges as main buyer
Uzbekistan’s cement exports increased nearly fourfold in the first nine months of 2025, reaching close to 1.1 million tons worth $44.4 million.
According to the National Statistics Committee, between January and September 2025, the country exported cement to four foreign markets – Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan.
The total export volume increased by 794,600 tons compared to the same period last year, marking a 3.8-fold rise.
Kyrgyzstan accounted for the largest share of exports, purchasing 488,740 tons of Uzbek cement. It was followed by Kazakhstan with 316,794 tons, Afghanistan with 272,739 tons, and Tajikistan, which imported a relatively small amount of 267 tons.
