Statistics Committee announces the number of foreign higher education institutions in Uzbekistan

The number of foreign higher education institutions in Uzbekistan at the beginning of the 2020/2021 academic year was 20, the State Statistics Committee said.

According to the committee, their number doubled in the last 3 years:

• At the beginning of the 2018/2019 academic year – 10
• At the beginning of the 2019/2020 academic year – 18
• At the beginning of the 2020/2021 academic year – 20
