Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan to conduct joint special forces training

From September 29 to October 2, a delegation of the main command of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Ruslan Jaksylykov, visited the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The visit was organized at the invitation of the Uzbek side in order to exchange experience on issues of service-combat activities and bilateral cooperation in various fields. During their stay in Uzbekistan, the Kazakh delegation visited the central office of the National Guard, where they met with Commander Major General Rustam Jurayev.

One of the important points during the negotiations was the discussion of the protection of important state facilities and cargo, joint tactical-special training with servicemen of special forces, as well as the exchange of experience in the implementation of educational programs with the military institute of the National Guard of Kazakhstan. During the visit, the delegation studied the experience of the National Guard of Uzbekistan on various issues of service-combat activities. They also visited the University of Public Security, a specialized training center, the Tashkent security department, a cavalry squadron, etc.

The head of the delegation, Lieutenant General Ruslan Jaksylykov, having signed the cooperation plan, expressed confidence in the further development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation and interaction in matters of public safety.

The parties also reached an agreement on the participation of representatives of the National Guard of Kazakhstan in personal-team competitions of dog handlers, participation as observers in qualification tests for the right to wear a maroon beret, as well as holding a practical seminar-meeting between servicemen of special forces of the National Guard of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on mountain high-altitude and tactical-special training.

In addition, the leadership of the National Guard of Uzbekistan expressed great interest in participating in the international military music festival of military brass bands “Askeri kerney – 2022”, in honor of the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Kazakh police and in the international hand-to-hand combat tournament for the Cup of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan.
