“No such incident has been observed in Uzbekistan for 150 years” – Uzhydromet comments on dusty storm
Uzhydromet has published the details of non-seasonal dusty strong winds. The center said such a situation had not been seen before for 150 years.
The incident was also observed in Bukhara, Kashkadarya, Navoi and Samarkand regions, where dust with a visibility of less than 1,000 meters was recorded.
The dust is dispersed at intervals of 15-20 minutes with the cessation of wind.
On November 4, the amount of dust in Tashkent increased by 5 times the allowable level, and then by 30 times between 21:00 and 23:00 local time. Then it dropped 10 times.
Until November 12, no precipitation is expected in the republic (except for the southern regions).
