CabMin approves procedure for appointing presidential and state stipends for students

According to the amendments made to the legislation, the stipend from the president will be paid to one undergraduate student from each university, and the state stipend will be paid to students of the last two years, Sputnik Uzbekistan reports. 

At the same time, candidates for stipends will be nominated by university councils that study the results of their educational and scientific activities.

Every year from 1 to 15 August, applicants selected by universities will need to register on stipendiya.edu.uz. University recommendations will be considered in September.
