On November 17, Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a phone talk with the President of Kazakhstan.
According to the press service of Akorda, during the conversation, the heads of state exchanged views on the further development of strategic partnership on the entire spectrum of the bilateral agenda.
“Main topics of discussion were consolidating trade and economic cooperation, strengthening investment ties, as well as implementing joint projects in the field of industry, engineering, transport and logistics,” the statement said.
It was also announced that to give a practical impetus to multifaceted Kazakh-Uzbek relations, the parties reached an agreement to organize a state visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kazakhstan before the end of 2021.
“The governments of the two countries will ensure that the upcoming negotiations will be held at the highest level,” Akorda concluded.
