Persimmon exports bring Uzbekistan nearly $17 million in 10 months

According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-October 2021, Uzbekistan exported 38.1 thousand tons of persimmon to 11 foreign countries for $16.7 million.

The export of persimmon decreased by 10.1 thousand tons compared to the same period last year, the committee noted.

Major importers of persimmon from Uzbekistan during the reporting period:

• Kazakhstan - 19.1 thousand tons
• Russia - 16.2 thousand tons
• Kyrgyzstan - 965 tons
• Ukraine - 777 tons
• Turkmenistan - 670 tons
• Belarus - 406 tons
