Statistics Committee names least populated province in Uzbekistan
The State Statistics Committee has named the least populated region in Uzbekistan.

According to preliminary data of the committee, as of October 1, 2021, Syrdarya region has the lowest population in the republic – 873.8 thousand people.
Of this, 435 thousand are women, and 438.8 thousand – men.
Earlier it was reported that the permanent population of Uzbekistan exceeded 35 million people.
