On December 7, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On additional measures to improve the activities of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, Gazeta.uz reports.
A Public Oversight Development Fund is being established to assist the Agency in financing additional tasks assigned to it in the field of transparency of state bodies. It does not have the status of a legal entity.
Also, from January 1, 2022, a round-the-clock “call center” will be launched for citizens to quickly report corruption.
