UAE Prime Minister visits Uzbek pavilion at EXPO 2020 Dubai

In Dubai, on the sidelines of the World Exhibition EXPO 2020 DUBAI in the national pavilion of Uzbekistan, Deputy PM – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov met with Vice President and PM of the United Arab Emirates, ruler of the Emirate of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The Prime Minister of the UAE highly appreciated the participation of Uzbekistan at the EXPO 2020 DUBAI exhibition with a national pavilion, noting this event as an important step in strengthening the country’s image in the international arena.
The parties expressed their readiness to make every effort to enrich the agenda of bilateral cooperation in the political, investment, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
An agreement was reached on accelerating the implementation of ongoing projects in such areas as energy, agriculture, infrastructure and healthcare, as well as on close cooperation to expand the joint investment portfolio.
Also during the meeting, a study tour of the exposition of Uzbekistan was organized for the Emirati side, where the rich cultural and historical heritage of the country was presented in a multimedia format.
