Over 832 thousand births registered in Uzbekistan since the beginning of 2021
As of December 1 – since the beginning of the year – 832.4 thousand births were registered in the country.
The number of births in the first 11 months of this year increased by 64,474 compared to the same period in 2020. In November 2021, a total of 79,213 births were registered in Uzbekistan.
In 30 years, the number of births increased by 16.4%.
The number of births in the country during the years of independence:
- In 1991 - 723.4 thousand
- In 1995 - 678 thousand
- In 2000 - 527.6 thousand
- In 2005 - 533.5 thousand
- In 2010 - 634.8 thousand
- In 2015 - 734.1 thousand
- In 2020 - 841.8 thousand
