Uzbekistan exported gold for $4.1 billion in Jan-Nov 2021
Uzbekistan’s export of non-monetary gold in January-November 2021 amounted to $4.1 billion, follows from the data of the State Statistics Committee.

This year, gold accounted for 26.6% of the total export structure. Over the same period last year, this figure was 40.9% ($5.8 billion).
Uzbekistan is among the TOP-10 leaders in the world in terms of gold mining. In 2020, the country mined 101.6 tons of gold.
Earlier, Kitco experts compiled a rating of leading gold mining deposits for 2020. According to the document, the Muruntau mine, where 2 million ounces (almost 57 tons) of precious metal were extracted, was in the first place. The field is located in Navoi region.
