Uzcard and Humo complete first stage of mutual integration
Payment systems Uzcard and Humo come to the end of the first phase of mutual integration, the CB press service reported.
In the near future, the cashier will not need to offer different terminals for each card - he will be able to have one device that will serve both payment systems.
On December 27, 2021, Uzcard and Humo payment systems demonstrated acceptance of payments at the terminals of both systems. Previously, there were restrictions in the terminals, but now one terminal will be able to serve both Uzcard and Humo cards.
It is noted that in order for the terminal to start accepting both types of cards, it needs to be updated. In the near future, banks will receive instructions with the necessary steps to carry out such an update.
Within the framework of the integration memorandum, the companies will continue cooperation in the following areas:
- protecting the interests of cardholders, banks, payment organizations and retail outlets;
- improving technologies and expanding infrastructure to stimulate cashless payments;
- implementation of projects to ensure the reliability and information security of the payment infrastructure.
