Uzbekistan Airways cancels flights to Kazakhstan until January 13

Uzbekistan Airways has announced the cancellation of flights to Kazakhstan from on January 8 and 13. Flights on January 5 and 6 were also canceled following protests in the neighboring country, Gazeta.uz reports.
Canceled flights:
- HY761/762/763/764 “Tashkent – Almaty – Tashkent”;
- HY767/768 “Samarkand – Almaty – Samarkand”;
- HY9729/9730 “Nukus – Aktobe – Nukus”;
- HY9725/9726 “Urgench – Aktov – Urgench”;
- HY9727/9728 “Nukus – Aktov – Nukus”.
Passengers on canceled flights can return the full cost of their tickets at the place where the ticket was purchased or re-book for free on another date, the company said in a statement.
