After January 24, the educational process will not be transferred into online format, the head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education Abduvali Khalikov reported.
“After January 24, the educational process will not be transferred to the online format. Final control exams will be held on time,” Abduvali Khalikov said.
Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education Rakhimjon Khakimov said that 70% of full-time students at the country’s universities were vaccinated against coronavirus on a voluntary basis.
Earlier, winter holidays for students in Uzbekistan were extended by 13 days.
It was noted that by January 24, seminars and trainings will be held for the management and teaching staff of all universities that have received financial independence and have switched to a credit-modular system.
In addition, in order to create favorable conditions for the return of students to their hometown from educational institutions until January 24, 2022, the 50% discount on air and train tickets has been extended.
Besides, air and train tickets purchased for the period before January 11, 2022 will be exchanged free of charge for a later period.
