Nearly 40 thousand divorces registered in Uzbekistan last year

According to the committee, last year, 39,227 divorces were registered in the country.

In 2021, the highest number of divorces was recorded in Tashkent – 5.6 thousand, and in Fergana region – 4.3 thousand.

Tashkent (2) and Syrdarya (1.6) have the highest divorce rates per 1,000 population.

The committee added that in 2021, 305,082 marriages were registered in Uzbekistan.
