Uzbekistan among TOP-3 destinations for Russian tourists
The most popular destinations for Russian tourists for the winter holidays this season were neighboring countries, follows from the data published by the online service Tutu.ru.
Analysts studied flights booked between December 1, 2021, and March 1, 2022 – only round-trip tickets with a minimum trip duration of 21 days were considered.
According to statistics, before the pandemic, most Russians preferred to fly to Thailand for the winter. Now the situation has changed.
18.7% of travelers have chosen Kyrgyzstan, 12.4% - Uzbekistan and 10.1% - Armenia.
