Azerbaijan and India change entry requirements for travelers from Uzbekistan
Citizens of Uzbekistan and 16 other countries can freely fly to Azerbaijan, Dunyo news agency reports with reference to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Baku.
It is reported that it is possible to enter Azerbaijan by air transport without obtaining permission from the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers. At the same time, an official certificate of completion of the full course of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19 is required. In addition, one needs a certificate with a negative PCR test result for coronavirus, issued within 72 hours before departure.
Also, Uzbekistan Airways informed about the requirements for check-in for flights to India. Reportedly, citizens of Uzbekistan need to present:
- a valid travel document to enter India;
- negative COVID-19 PCR test result in English;
- completed and confirmed by the Indian side of the questionnaire – in printed form.
Passengers who do not comply with India’s requirements will not be allowed to board the flight, the company warned.
