Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan intend to coordinate efforts to minimize negative consequences of crisis in the global economy
On March 16, Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
According to the presidential press service, the parties discussed in detail topical issues of bilateral relations and prospects for further strengthening regional cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to continuing close collaboration and effective coordination of efforts in order to minimize the negative consequences of the crisis in the global economy.
“The importance of creating favorable conditions for ensuring the growth dynamics of bilateral trade, accelerating the implementation of major cooperation projects in industry, energy, agriculture, food and textile industries, transport and logistics, as well as actively holding joint events within the framework of the cultural and humanitarian exchange programs was emphasized,” the report says.
