Uzbekistan, China discuss issues of bilateral cooperation
The First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Aziz Voitov held talks with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Jiang Yan, Dunyo correspondent reports.
According to the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade (MIFT), the agenda includes topical issues of bilateral cooperation and further measures to implement the agreements reached following the conversation between the President of Uzbekistan and the President of China.
During the conversation, which took place in a traditionally warm and friendly atmosphere, it was noted that under the leadership of the Heads of the two states, relations between the countries are consistently strengthening in all priority areas.
Cooperation is developing in trade-economic, investment, financial-technical, transport-logistics, banking and other areas.
The parties determined further actions for the implementation of the intergovernmental program of trade-economic and investment cooperation for 2022-2026, signed in February during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to China.
The Chinese side supported the initiative to hold on March 25 within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Uzbek-Chinese forum “Industrial cooperation. New opportunities”.
Measures were discussed to prepare for the events taking place this year in Uzbekistan under the auspices of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Following the talks, the parties expressed their readiness to intensify further cooperation to improve the efficiency of bilateral investment, trade-economic cooperation.
