Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan meets in Tehran with ECO Secretary General

As Khusrav Noziri emphasized during the conversation, Uzbekistan is a very important member state of the ECO. He stressed the significant role and huge contribution of the republic to the further development of the organization.

A high assessment was given to the current chairmanship of Uzbekistan in the ECO and the implementation of the initiatives of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev put forward at the summit of the organization in November 2021 in Ashgabat.

During the meeting, issues of preparing and holding events in the field of agriculture, tourism, transport and logistics, energy and ecology in the year 2022 were discussed.
