Uzbek MFA receives US delegation led by Assistant Secretary of State, holds talks on bilateral relations in various fields
This morning, bilateral talks began at the Foreign Ministry with a US delegation led by Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu, who arrived in Tashkent the day before.
The Uzbek side at the meeting is represented by a delegation headed by Acting Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov.
At the Uzbek-American talks, it is planned to discuss the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral Uzbek-American relations in various fields.
There will also be an exchange of views on regional and international issues.
It should be recalled that on December 13, 2021, the first meeting of the Strategic Partnership Dialogue between Uzbekistan and the United States was held in Tashkent, at which the American delegation was also headed by Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu.
