China remains major supplier of EVs to the market of Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan imported 734 electric vehicles from 10 countries for $21.8 million in the first four months of 2022.
According to the State Statistics Committee, EV imports increased by 594 units or 5.2 times compared to the corresponding period of 2021.
The republic imported electric vehicles mainly from the following countries during the reporting period:
- China - 654
- UAE - 40
- Germany - 17
- Hong Kong - 10
- Lithuania - 6
- Estonia - 2
- South Korea - 2
