Uzbek-Malaysian working group to be created to develop joint projects in field of space research and space monitoring
The Embassy of our country organized videoconferencing negotiations between the Acting Director General of the Agency for Space Research and Technology under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan (Uzbekcosmos) Shukhrat Kadirov and the Director General of the Malaysian Space Agency Azlikamil Napia.

During the talks, the ongoing efforts in our country to develop space research and technology, as well as the priority tasks of the Uzbekcosmos Agency, were noted.
Also, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of space research and space monitoring, the exchange of best practices in the field of remote sensing of the Earth using satellites, the use of space and geoinformation technologies to improve the efficiency of various sectors of the economy and the socio-economic activities of the regions, and conduct joint research and development work, training and advanced training of personnel.
Following the negotiations, agreements were reached on the establishment of a working group to develop joint projects, prepare a draft Memorandum of Cooperation, as well as exchange visits.
