It should be recalled that in Samarkand, PPS employees used a shocker on tourists. On the night of May 21, during night patrols, officers of the patrol service of the city DIA, while identifying tourists from a neighboring country, committed rudeness and illegal use of special equipment.

Then it also became known that the MIA internal security service, together with the prosecutor’s office, was conducting an internal investigation into this incident.

Later, the official representative of the MFA of Kazakhstan, Aybek Smadiyarov commented on the incident with Kazakh tourists in Uzbekistan.

“It should be noted that in the comments to the video circulated on social networks, where law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan use stun guns on our citizens, the society in Uzbekistan itself condemns the actions of law enforcement officers. Nevertheless, we keep the situation under control,” the Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

As UzA reported, the other day, two employees of the internal affairs bodies were fired for the use of force. In addition, the prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case.
