More than 700,000 children to go to 1st grade in the new academic year

In the coming academic year, more than 700,000 children will cross the school threshold for the first time, said Laylo Rustamova, the press secretary for the Ministry of Public Education.

The MPE representative provided information on the procedure for organizing admission to grade 1 in the 2022-2023 academic year.

It is noted that admission to class 1 is carried out in two stages (in microsections and additional admission outside the microsection).

Documents are accepted in electronic form in Tashkent, the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regional centers and in traditional form in districts (cities).

Children of foreign citizens are admitted to general education schools in accordance with the established procedure through territorial administrations.

Admission to non-state educational institutions is carried out in accordance with the procedure established by them.
