Business delegation of Germany arrives in Uzbekistan
On July 5-6, Uzbekistan will be visited by one of the largest delegations of business circles ever sent from Germany to Central Asia.
The delegation includes more than 120 representatives of German companies operating in such industries as the production of building materials, agricultural engineering, automotive, chemical and electrical industries, construction, banking, tourism, services and others.
Among the members of the delegation are representatives of such well-known companies as Siemens, MAN, Lufthansa, CLAAS, Papenburg, Atlas, SAP, Knauf, Linde, Deutsche Bahn, SchaefflerGroup, Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, KfW-Bank, AKA-Bank.
The visit has been organized by the Eastern Committee of the German Economy and the German-Uzbek Business Council (GUBC) with the support of the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan and Germany.
On July 5, a business forum and a cooperation exchange will be held at the Tashkent Hyatt Hotel and the Uzbekistan Palace of International Forums. On the same day, the sixth meeting of the GUBC will be held. Meetings of members of the delegation with representatives of enterprises of Uzbekistan, as well as visits to the regions of the republic are planned. Based on the results of these events, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents that will initiate the implementation of new joint projects.
The upcoming visit of such a representative delegation of German business to our country is a clear evidence of the interest of German business in cooperation with Uzbekistan, as well as recognition of the large-scale socio-economic transformations being carried out in the republic.
