Uzbekistan, Malaysia discuss expanding multilateral cooperation
Today, July 7, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kuala Lumpur Ravshan Usmanov met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Malaysia, Kamarudin Jaffar.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for expanding multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.
Special attention was paid to further strengthening interaction within the framework of international organizations, in particular the UN, the OIC and other multilateral platforms, including through support for mutual initiatives.
In addition, the Malaysian side was informed about the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan in all spheres of society and the state.
The parties reached an agreement to continue diplomatic contacts for the practical implementation of the existing significant potential to expand cooperation in the above areas.
