Number of small enterprises and micro-firms that are run by women announced
There are 36,472 small businesses and micro-firms run by women, the State Statistics Committee reported.
According to the committee, as of January 1, 2022, the number of small enterprises and microfirms managed by women leaders in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 36,472 units.
It is noted that the number of small enterprises and microfirms managed by women leaders increased by 177 units compared to the corresponding period last year.
Previously, Kun.uz reported what percentage of teachers teaching in schools have higher education degree.
At the beginning of the 2021-2022 academic year, 510,046 teachers work in public educational institutions of the republic.
Of these, 53.1% of teachers work in rural schools, and 46.9% - in urban schools.
