President of Turkmenistan to visit Uzbekistan this week
As part of the visit of Serdar Berdimuhamedow to the country, it is planned to conduct negotiations at the highest level, sign a package of bilateral documents and familiarize with the sights of Samarkand.
On July 14-15, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow at the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Uzbekistan on a state visit, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan reported.
On the agenda of negotiations at the highest level, the issues of further development and strengthening of the Uzbek-Turkenic relations of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership, expanding multifaceted cooperation between the two countries have been included.
In the focus of attention, there will be prospects for practical interaction in the main areas, including building the volume of mutual trade, establishing industrial cooperation, efficient use of transport-transit potential, implementing important projects in the water management, activation of interregional contacts, as well as the continuation of cultural-humanitarian exchange programs.
It is stipulated that the heads of state will exchange views on international issues and discuss the current aspects of regional cooperation.
According to the results of the visit, it is planned to accept a joint application and sign a package of bilateral documents.
The high-ranking guest’s itinerary also includes a meeting in Oliy Majlis and familiarization with the sights of Samarkand.
