Justice Ministry provides information on allowed amount of customs duty-free import of goods

Individuals can import a certain amount of goods into Uzbekistan without paying customs duties.

According to the Legal Information Telegram channel of the Justice Ministry, people can import goods in the amount indicated below without paying customs duties:

• when crossing customs borders at the international airports of Uzbekistan - $2,000;
• when crossing customs borders of Uzbekistan through railway and river customs checkpoints - $1,000;
• when crossing the state border of Uzbekistan through automobile (pedestrian) customs checkpoints - $300;
• goods arriving in the name of individuals by international courier shipments - $1,000 within one calendar quarter;
• goods arriving in the name of individuals by international mail - $100.
