Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Belarus talk over the phone, discuss strengthening cooperation
Today, July 22, Acting Foreign Affairs Minister of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei.
During the talks, the parties focused on strengthening the interaction of the two countries within the framework of international institutions, primarily the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The sides also considered topical issues of Uzbek-Belarusian cooperation and voiced interest in the further development of political dialogue, trade and economic ties, and cultural-humanitarian exchanges.
The ministers reached an agreement on maintaining working contacts on issues of interest to the parties.
