Number of registered applicants for state exams exceeds 1 million
The State Testing Center registered 1,007,313 applicants as of July 22 for state exams for undergraduate programs.

Applicants registered online through the my.dtm.uz and my.gov.uz sites.
Reportedly, 374,319 of the applicants finished school this year and 632,994 are graduates of past years.
544,922 applicants have applied for full-time education programs, 433,510 – for part-time education, 22,776 – for evening classes and 6,105 – for distance learning.
Number of applicants by region of permanent residence:
- Kashkadarya region - 115,484 people;
- Samarkand region - 111,898 people;
- Tashkent region - 97,586 people;
- Fergana region - 91,766 people;
- Surkhandarya region - 85,793 people;
- Andijan region - 66,517 people;
- Republic of Karakalpakstan - 64,987 people;
- Namangan region - 63,449 people;
- Jizzakh region - 59,325 people;
- Tashkent city - 58,562 people;
- Bukhara region - 57,487 people;
- Khorezm region - 53,328 people;
- Navoi region - 44,565 people;
- Syrdarya region - 36,566 people.
