Mirziyoyev hosts Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi

On July 28, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a member of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the meeting of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers.

At the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of further strengthening the Uzbek-Chinese relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and expanding multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

The sides exchanged views on the prospects for deepening regional collaboration and considered the agenda for the upcoming SCO summit.

For information, the meeting of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers is scheduled for July 29 in Tashkent.
