More than 1.2 million applicants to take state exams for undergraduate programs this year – STC
The State Testing Center has provided data on the number of applicants registered for state exams for undergraduate programs.
Online registration of applicants for the upcoming tests has been completed, the STC said.
Reportedly, 1,214,232 applicants have been registered this year.
According to the State Testing Center, 395,023 applicants finished school this year and 819,209 are graduates of past years.
612,530 applicants have applied for full-time education programs, 565,902 – for part-time education, 27,417 – for evening classes and 8,383 – for distance learning.
Number of applicants by region:
- Kashkadarya region - 140,797 people;
- Samarkand region - 133,610 people;
- Tashkent region - 116,251 people;
- Fergana region - 109,938 people;
- Surkhandarya region - 106,145 people;
- Andijan region - 79,235 people;
- Namangan region - 77,607 people;
- Republic of Karakalpakstan - 75,819 people;
- Jizzakh region - 74,346 people;
- the city of Tashkent - 68,545 people;
- Bukhara region - 67,663 people;
- Khorezm region - 64,351 people;
- Navoi region - 54,512 people;
- Syrdarya region - 45,413 people.
