In the first half of 2022, Uzbekistan imported 16,308 passenger cars from 24 countries for $396 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, passenger car imports increased by about 7 thousand or almost two times compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the republic imported cars mainly from the following countries:
- China – 7,265
- South Korea – 4,510
- Kazakhstan – 2,896
- Russia – 1,192
- USA – 180
- UAE – 84
- Japan – 65
- Germany – 48
