Uzbekistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan to hold tripartite talks for the first time
For the first time in Tashkent, the ministers of foreign affairs, trade and transport of Uzbekistan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan will hold tripartite talks. “This is a completely new mechanism,” said Sherzod Asadov, spokesperson for the President of Uzbekistan.
According to Asadov, the negotiations are taking place based on mutual agreements of the leaders of the three countries.
“Further development of interregional collaboration, discussing prospects for cooperation in the spheres of investments, innovations, transport and communication are included in the agenda of the talks,” he said.
Reportedly, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will receive Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov, who will participate in the event.
