Uzbekistan Airports’ revenue for H1 2022 reaches $46 million
The company’s revenue for the first half of the year exceeded 0.5 trillion soums – against 445 million a year earlier.
Revenue of Uzbekistan Airports for the first half of the year amounted to 513.75 billion soums, follows from the financial report of the company.
Compared to the same period in 2021, sales revenue increased by 1,154 times. Then the airport operator reported only 445 million soums in revenue.
The cost of services rendered amounted to 157.76 billion soums.
The company received 283.18 billion soums of income from its main activities, while the first half of last year was unprofitable at all. After deducting financial expenses, the company’s profit amounted to 280.8 billion soums.
Uzbekistan Airports also paid 3.92 billion soums in taxes. As a result, net profit amounted to 276.87 billion soums, or 4,184 times more than last year.
The company’s assets increased by 14% over six months and reached 6.86 trillion soums. Most of the increase came from receivables and advances, as well as cash. At the same time, the volume of liabilities almost tripled to 592.4 billion soums.
Uzbekistan Airports appeared in 2019 as a result of the division of Uzbekistan Airways. That year, the airport operator suffered a loss of 4.3 billion soums.
