Work of Turakurgan TPP restored
The Ministry of Energy spoke about the details of the forced emergency shutdown of a thermal power plant in Namangan.
Earlier, due to damage by unknown persons to the main line of the gas pipeline in Namangan, there was a forced emergency stop of the Turakurgan power plant.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the malfunction has now been eliminated, the supply of natural gas to the Turakurgan TPP has been restored.
“At 18:33, power unit No. 1 connected to the grid and began transmitting electricity. The station will start operating at full capacity from 19:30.
The Ministry of Energy also noted that in order to restore the lost power, backup power units were introduced at the Tashkent, Novo-Angren, Syrdarya TPPs and Charvak HPPs.
