Shavkat Mirziyoev to visit Samarkand this week
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Samarkand this week, Sherzod Asadov, spokesperson for the president, said at a briefing.

According to Asadov, Mirziyoyev’s work schedule for the week is quite busy.
“Today, the president will hold an open dialogue with entrepreneurs. He is also expected to receive members of the US Congress, Trent Kelly and Darin LaHood,” Asadov said.
It is noted that the president is expected to visit Samarkand in order to familiarize himself with the construction works and socio-economic projects being carried out in the region.
In addition, during the week, Mirziyoyev will hold a series of meetings and discussions on the economic and social development of the country.
