Cost of renting textbooks to be fully covered by state budget from now onwards
The cost of printing school textbooks will be covered by the budget from now on, and no money will be collected from parents for this, said Deputy Minister of Public Education Temur Komilov.

In accordance with the relevant instruction of the president, renting costs of textbooks are being covered by the state budget this year.
When asked if the same practice will continue in the next academic years at a press conference on Sept 6, Deputy Minister of Public Education Temur Komilov said, “it depends on the law on the state budget.”
However, Komilov told reporters after the conference that the government officials had contacted him and said that the issue of the rent has finally been resolved. That is, in the coming years, the provision of schoolchildren with textbooks will be carried out at the expense of the budget funds. So no money will be collected from parents anymore.
