Mirziyoyev receives outgoing US Ambassador to Uzbekistan
On September 7, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America Daniel Rosenblum, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country.
The president noted the contribution of Ambassador Daniel Rosenblum to the development of the Uzbek-American relations of strategic partnership.
“In recent years, a constructive political dialogue has been established. Mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation is expanding through joint efforts. The volume of mutual trade is growing, a number of investment projects are being implemented with the participation of leading American companies. Bilateral programs are being carried out in the field of education and healthcare,” the press service of the president said in a statement.
In accordance with a presidential decree adopted in August this year, the American diplomat was awarded the honorary state award of the country - the Order of Dustlik (Friendship).
The US Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude for the high appreciation of his activities and assured that he would continue to actively support the strengthening of multifaceted cooperation between the countries.
