Over 32 thousand marriages registered in Uzbekistan in August

According to the State Statistics Committee, the largest number of marriages was recorded in Samarkand region – 4,026, followed by Fergana (3,773) and Kashkadarya (3,421) regions.

The figure for other provinces is as follows:

• Namangan region - 2,714;
• Andijan region - 2,641;
• Tashkent city - 2,626;
• Tashkent region - 2,614;
• Surkhandarya region - 2,584;
• Jizzakh region - 1,645;
• Bukhara region - 1,604;
• Karakalpakstan R. - 1,392;
• Navoi region - 1,265;
• Khorezm region - 1,125;
• Syrdarya region - 936.
