Over 32 thousand marriages registered in Uzbekistan in August
In August 2022, a total of 32,366 marriages were registered in the republic.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the largest number of marriages was recorded in Samarkand region – 4,026, followed by Fergana (3,773) and Kashkadarya (3,421) regions.
The figure for other provinces is as follows:
- Namangan region - 2,714;
- Andijan region - 2,641;
- Tashkent city - 2,626;
- Tashkent region - 2,614;
- Surkhandarya region - 2,584;
- Jizzakh region - 1,645;
- Bukhara region - 1,604;
- Karakalpakstan R. - 1,392;
- Navoi region - 1,265;
- Khorezm region - 1,125;
- Syrdarya region - 936.
