Uzbek woman wanted by Interpol for human trafficking detained in Malaysia
A woman hiding in Malaysia under a false name has been extradited to Uzbekistan.

A citizen of Uzbekistan, wanted by law enforcement agencies for human trafficking, has been extradited from Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) to Tashkent, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
It is noted that the woman was hiding in Malaysia for a long time under a false name.
In the course of events held jointly with the National Central Bureaus of Interpol in Tashkent and Kuala Lumpur, as well as with the assistance of representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, it was possible to locate the woman. She was then taken into custody.
After the decision made by the Malaysian authorities to extradite the wanted woman, she was taken to Uzbekistan, accompanied by Interpol officers.
