Uzbekistan, Sweden eye to expand cooperation in field of infrastructure
Uzbekistan and Sweden are discussing the prospects of expanding cooperation in the field of infrastructure.
Reportedly, Uzbekistan’s Chargé d’affaires Nodir Ganiyev met with Fredrik Alfer, Deputy Director General of the Swedish Ministry of Infrastructure - Head of the Department of EU and International Relations.
During the dialogue, directions for establishing Uzbekistan-Sweden cooperation in the implementation of infrastructure projects were discussed.
The Swedish side expressed its interest in participating in the “European Union - Central Asia” ministerial conference on strengthening interdependence, which includes discussing infrastructure, transport and energy projects.
Following the meeting, it was agreed to continue regular practical contacts.
