Uzbekistan registers more than 85 thousand births in October
According to the preliminary data of the State Statistics Committee, in October 2022, 85,306 cases of live births were registered in the registry offices.
The figure is more by 2,843 compared to the same period last year, the committee said.
The number of births by province:
- Karakalpakstan R. - 4,199
- Andijan region - 8,026
- Bukhara region - 4,313
- Jizzakh region - 3,807
- Kashkadarya region - 9,286
- Navoi region - 2,186
- Namangan region - 7,615
- Samarkand region - 10,272
- Surkhandarya region - 7,193
- Syrdarya region - 1,990
- Tashkent region - 6,146
- Fergana region - 9,365
- Khorezm region - 4,800
- Tashkent city - 6,108
