Tashkent court confiscates 12 iPhone 14 PRO Max smartphones brought from Dubai in favor of the state
Three citizens who tried to illegally import smartphones worth more than 197 million soums into the country were brought to administrative responsibility.

Three young men brought 12 iPhone 14 PRO Max smartphones to Tashkent from Dubai. They did not declare the items during the customs check, UzNews.uz writes with reference to the Department for Ensuring Security at Transport and Tourism Facilities.
The incident happened in October.
According to the verdict of the Sergeli district court, the citizens were found guilty of committing an offense under Article 227-22 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (Failure to declare or false declaration of goods).
Two of the offenders were fined in the amount equal to 1 BCA (300,000 soums), one of them was imposed a fine of 5 BCAs (1.5 million soums).
12 iPhone 14 PRO Max mobile communication devices worth 197.5 million soums were confiscated in favor of the state.
