Uzbekistan, France sign agreements worth more than €6 billion
The agreement is aimed at implementation of trade-economic, investment and financial cooperation projects. Also, documents were adopted in the fight against corruption, teaching the French language and other areas.
During the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to France, bilateral agreements were reached on the implementation of trade-economic, investment and financial cooperation projects with a total value of more than €6 billion, the presidential press service reported.
On the second day of the visit, a meeting was held with the Chairman of the French National Assembly.
Following the visit, the heads of state adopted a joint statement aimed at developing high-level comprehensive partnership relations.
14 agreements aimed at further expansion of Uzbek-French relations were adopted.
These include the Strategic Partnership Agreement with the French Development Agency for implementing the 2023-2025 Cooperation Program and the 2023-2024 Cooperation Program between Foreign Policy Agencies.
Declarations on cooperation in the fields of cultural-historical heritage, pre-school, public and higher education, public service development were also signed.
Documents were adopted in civil aviation, fight against corruption, training of judges, French language training and other areas.
Bilateral agreements were reached on the implementation of trade-economic, investment and financial cooperation projects with a total value of more than €6 billion.
After the events of the visiting program were completed, the high-ranking guest was escorted by the officials of the French government at the Paris-Orly airport. The head of our state left for Tashkent.
