Uzbekistan’s cement imports down
Uzbekistan imported 1.9 million tons of cement for $80.5 million in January-October 2022.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of cement imports decreased by 401.7 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
Major suppliers of cement to Uzbekistan during the reporting period:
- Tajikistan - 841.8 thousand tons
- Kyrgyz R. - 575.3 thousand tons
- Kazakhstan - 508.5 thousand tons
- Iran - 15.2 thousand tons
- Turkmenistan - 11.6 thousand tons
- China - 1.4 thousand tons
- Russia - 1.1 thousand tons
